Pricing questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Every plan starts on the Free tier with no credit card and no trial clock. You only enter payment details if and when you decide to upgrade to a paid plan.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. The Free business plan lets you track one business with up to 100 transactions a month, two team members, CSV import and a basic profit and loss view, for as long as you want. TrueProfit Personal also has a Free tier that tracks one personal account forever. You are never forced to upgrade.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed monthly by default. If you switch to annual billing you are charged for ten months instead of twelve, so two months are free. Business is $19 a month and $49 a month for the two paid tiers, and TrueProfit Personal is $4.99 and $9.99 a month, in Canadian dollars.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel from your account at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee and no lock-in contract.
What is the difference between TrueProfit and TrueProfit Personal?
TrueProfit is for businesses and sellers who want their real profit across every channel, with team members, integrations and full reporting. TrueProfit Personal is for everyday money, with budgets, receipts, a subscription tracker and a year-end tax summary. They are priced separately so you only pay for what you use.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your data stays yours. If you move to a lower tier your records are kept, and any features above your new plan simply become read-only or locked until you upgrade again. Nothing is deleted when you downgrade.
